Downtown Troy turned into a playful mini golf course on Saturday as Troy Main Street hosted its first Golf Par Tee. From the first swing to the final putt, this was a fun event that took up a few hours in the afternoon.
Mini Golf with a Local Twist
Teams of four signed up to play a mini golf course spread across downtown Troy, with each hole designed and sponsored by local businesses. Every stop offered its own personality, from clever setups to themed decorations, making the course as entertaining as it was challenging.
Renew U Troy
One of my favorite courses was held by Renew U Troy who had a Dysport themed board complete with needle and bottle.
The Olive Oasis
You could feel the Troy love with The Olive Oasis’ putting green. We love the Troy town theme.
Collect-Bros
The new Collecti-Bros shop brought playfulness with their interactive game board.
Agave & Rye
Their board was on theme complete with a giant taco and margarita glasses.
The Links Golf Social
This was a great opportunity to check out the new The Links Golf Social downtown and try out their golf simulator.
Supporting Downtown Businesses
Beyond the fun of the game, the Golf Par Tee shined a spotlight on Troy’s vibrant downtown. Players had the chance to step inside shops, explore restaurants, and interact with business owners along the way. The event not only drew a strong turnout but also encouraged participants to see firsthand what downtown Troy has to offer.
