There is something special about the way coffee brings people together. It slows us down, sparks conversation, and creates moments that turn into memories. For Layna Boggs, that feeling is exactly what inspired LoveWell Coffee Co., a mobile coffee business rooted in community, connection, and loving well.

Layna lives in Troy just a short walk from downtown. She moved to Troy in middle school and graduated in 2019, but her relationship with coffee started even earlier. While still in high school, Layna began working at Winans Chocolates and Coffees in Piqua in 2017. Over five years, she worked her way into management and gained experience at multiple locations including Looney Road and the bookstore store. Coffee quickly became more than a job. It became a passion.
After leaving Winans, Layna stepped into a completely different role managing a call center in the HVAC industry. Life shifted again when she became a mom and stayed home with her son. Through every season, the idea of owning her own coffee business stayed in the back of her mind. She had even written a business plan years earlier. It felt like a pipe dream at the time, but the entrepreneurial spark never went away.
Eventually that dream turned into LoveWell Coffee Co., a mobile coffee experience built around intentional ingredients and meaningful moments. Layna wanted to do something for herself while also creating something that served others. She loves the coffee community and believes there is something magical about people gathering around a cup of coffee. The mobile aspect allowed her to bring that magic directly to people, whether at a celebration, workplace, or community event.

LoveWell Coffee Co. serves private and corporate events throughout the area including baby showers, weddings, bridal showers, employee appreciation events, holiday parties, healthcare teams, and construction companies. Guests can even create their own custom drinks, including fun personalized options like Mr. and Mrs. drinks featuring favorite flavors made just for the day.
Seasonal menus are a big part of the LoveWell experience. The winter menu is currently live and includes cozy offerings like a hot cocoa bar that has been a hit with kids at events like the Fairborn Hot Chocolate Festival. Layna has also collaborated with local brands including Salsa City Fitness for special events, reinforcing her belief in collaboration over competition.
LoveWell Coffee Co. operates both as a mobile trailer and a coffee cart. The cart allows for quieter, more intimate indoor setups where Layna can connect more personally with guests. The trailer is popular during late summer and fall when people love the full coffee truck experience. Having both options gives LoveWell flexibility and makes it a perfect fit for a wide range of events.

One of the most popular drinks on the menu is the Sarahcano, named after Layna’s best friend. It features house made caramel melted over espresso, poured over ice, and topped with half and half. The caramel is made in house, and other syrups come from The Goodway Coffee Syrups out of Xenia. Everything is organic whenever possible and free from preservatives and food dyes.
That commitment ties directly into LoveWell’s mission. Loving well means loving your body well and loving your community well. Coffee beans are sourced from Pettibone Coffee, pastries come from Farmhouse Bakery, and Layna is intentional about supporting local whenever she can.

Her personal favorite drink reflects her simple approach to coffee. An iced Americano with a splash of half and half and vanilla bean syrup. Sometimes plain really is perfect.
LoveWell just celebrated its first year of business and community and networking remain at the center of everything Layna does. She has always worked in retail or customer service and believes creating an experience is just as important as serving a great drink. Her goal is to make a lasting impression, meet people where they are, and grow something meaningful.
Behind the scenes, Layna’s husband plays a huge supporting role. The two have been together since high school and married in 2021. While Layna handles events, he holds down the fort at home with their toddler son Henry, lovingly called Baby Hank. His support allows her to chase her dreams and show up fully for her business.
Looking ahead, Layna hopes to grow the cart side of the business, book more weekday and corporate events, and eventually expand into a brick and mortar space. She dreams of hiring employees one day and continuing to show up at events throughout Miami County and beyond.
Supporting local matters deeply to Layna. She values collaboration with other small businesses, outreach in the Troy community, and partnering with local nonprofits for auctions and special events. LoveWell merch pops up at events, and Layna stays active with organizations like Poppyfield Gifts, the Chamber, and the Troy Recreation Board.
LoveWell Coffee Co. is more than coffee. It is about people, purpose, and creating moments that matter. To learn more about upcoming events or private event pricing, visit lovewellcoffeeco.com and follow along as Layna continues to love her community well, one cup at a time.
