Serves: 4 bougie besties
Category: Luxe Appetizer or Side
Inspired by: “I’m rich, bitch—but relatable.”
Ingredients:
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 4 tbsp butter (extra for drama)
- ½ cup crème fraîche (or sour cream if you’re a Season 1 Housewife)
- ½ cup grated Gruyère or white cheddar (optional, but glam)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1–2 oz high-quality caviar (Caspian, paddlefish, or even truffle pearls if you’re improvising)
- Chives, finely chopped
- Optional: Gold flakes, edible flowers, or a tiny flag that says “That’s my opinion!”Instructions:
- Bake the potatoes: Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake your washed russet potatoes for 45–60 mins until soft.
- Scoop the drama: Let cool slightly, then slice the tops open like you’re starting a feud. Gently scoop out the inside into a bowl, leaving the skins intact.
- Mix it up: Mash the potato with butter, crème fraîche, cheese (if using), salt, and pepper. It should be creamy enough to make Kathy Hilton tear up.
- Stuff & rebake: Fill the skins with the mash. Bake again at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden and hot.
- Top with caviar: Add a generous dollop of crème fraîche and a spoonful of caviar on each potato just before serving. Sprinkle with chives.
- Optional flair: Add gold leaf or edible flowers if you’re feeling like a finale episode.
