The quality of beer in the Greater Dayton area has gotten increasingly better with the addition of the many breweries that have popped up in the last few years. One of our favorite local places to visit is Alematic Artisan Ales. Located in Huber Heights, this is a 20-minute drive from Miami County and is known for making amazing small-batch brews with seasonal ingredients.
The Vibe at Alematic Artisan Ales
Located in a strip mall in Huber Heights, at first look Alematic Artisan Ale’s looks pretty unassuming but the location allows for ample parking and easy access.
As soon as you walk in the true personality of the brewery is on full display. While it’s not a large space, they make the most of it. The walls are painted in a graffiti style by a local artist and you can overlook the brewing area in the back. They have beautiful hanging lights throughout and a variety of seating areas from high-top tables and the bar to a small sitting area in the back. Since I have been they have also added a patio.
One of the most important factors for any brewery is that it’s clean and this place is immaculately clean.
The Brewery Service
Service is important to me, especially at a brewery because it’s a little outside of my comfort zone and I struggle with what to order. Thankfully, when it comes to the staff, they are super chill and totally know their stuff. They were able to find me the perfect sour beer for me to enjoy! Plus, they’re all about keeping things friendly and laid-back. 😎👍

The Beer at Alematic
Now let’s get down to business. The most important aspect of any brewery is the beer and Alematic doesn’t disappoint. The menu changes seasonally and is filled with wines, seltzers, ciders, and beer.
