Today is the day! The much talked about Great American Solar Eclipse will be gracing us with its (partial) presence in the Miami County around 1pm local time!  Whether you are working, staying home or going out here are the best ways to view the Solar Eclipse in Miami County!

Lost Creek Reserve : Sitting outside of Troy in the country, Lost Creek Reserve is a great location to view the eclipse and they are having a viewing event to prove it. Make sure to register online if you need glasses.

Pleasant Hill: Come out to the Gazebo near the Soccer fields to view the Eclipse and make chalk art!

Boonshoft Museum: Located about 20 minutes outside of the Miami County, the Boonshoft Museum is a great place to watch the Great American Eclipse and they are having a watch party as well!

The Fraze Pavilion: known for great music and events, even the Fraze Pavilion (about a 45 minute drive from Miami County) is getting in on the Eclipse action with an Eclipse party! They will have music and the first 1800 people to arrive get free viewing glasses!

Stuck at work and can’t make it to a party? Watch the NASA live stream instead!

Happy Viewing!!!
